Entertainment Rights PLC 08 January 2007 ENTERTAINMENT RIGHTS SIGNS DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH GENIUS PRODUCTS LLC FOR NORTH AMERICAN HOME VIDEO DISTRIBUTION Entertainment Rights Plc ("ER"), one of the UK's leading independent media groups specialising in the ownership of children's and family programming, characters and brands today announces an agreement with Genius Products LLC for North American home video distribution of a number of ER's key brands. ER will partner with Genius in the US for home entertainment distribution of a number of key brands including Postman Pat(R), Rupert Bear(R), Jim Jam & SunnyTM as well as certain titles from the Filmation library of classic contemporary programming, including Fat Albert, The Archies and a number of other titles from the ER catalogue. The agreement, which commenced on 29 December 2006, will see a number of ER's key brands and catalogue available for the first time on DVD in the key North American market. Genius is one of the fastest growing companies in the entertainment industry and is a creator and distributor of home entertainment content through major retailers including Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, Toys R Us, Barnes & Noble, Blockbuster and Amazon.com. Genius has established relationships with premier content suppliers including The Weinstein Company, Classic Media, Sundance, Discovery Kids, ESPN and WWE.
