Posted at 03/11/2010 14:40 by chrisdgb A nice summary from Growth Company Investor earlier this year to remind us what the company is focussing on:Enfis is convinced its fortune lies in the LED based Solid State Lighting (SSL) market, large and growing as a result of global energy saving initiatives driven by 'political and economic imperatives'and is now attacking the high power lighting sector, which incorporates lots of intelligent monitoring and sensing solutions and where Enfis has 'powerful' IP. Key target markets include entertainment lighting (film and TV production, concerts and theatre), medical lighting, architectural lighting, medical and industrial applications as well as high end retail lighting. And the way to address these markets, Enfis insists, is to focus sales and marketing efforts on high quality lighting fixture and OEMs selling branded products, as well as working directly with select resellers and selling direct into key accounts. |
Posted at 06/8/2010 08:30 by mike_f watchout2, is it not commong knowledge? If anyone has done their research they should know this! I hope it does keep rising, i only top sliced a few as i was happy with my entry. Every good investor will take a little profit on a dramatic rise. I will buy more on any retrace we may see. |

Posted at 04/12/2008 15:46 by pugugly Market does not seem to like this one at all. It is in the right market, at the right time but cannot seem to deliver. The lack of news gives me a very bad feelingPS. I have been follwing from the IPO but have never been able ot get enthused. Can anyone plese tell me where I am wrong. I want to invest in a GREEN company but nearly all of them are bleeding investors cash and most show no signs of ever becoming profitable. |
Posted at 21/4/2008 12:10 by poppa wobbler JM Finn rampers trying hard:By Alistair Dawber Monday, 21 April 2008 Enfis begins to sparkle Independent analysts at JM Finn describe Enfis as "the biggest thing since Edison". No doubt that is an exaggeration, but the company, which was born out of Swansea University in 2001, is beginning to sparkle. The developer of energy efficient lighting will unveil later today its new "lighting evolution centre". The centre will allow lighting groups to bring their product to Enfis, which will then fit its technology to the equipment. Enfis has developed semiconductor LED technology that is five times more efficient than the average light bulb and lasts as much as 50 times longer. While the group might be doing wonders for the environment, for investors the story so far is not as upbeat. The shares have struggled since the group listed on AIM last March. The stock closed on Friday at 105.5p, down from a high of 172.5p last June. The chief executive, Shaun Oxenham, blames this on retail buyers getting twitchy about technology companies. He insists that institutional backers have remained with the group and will benefit from profits by 2009." |
