Energy XXI announces today that the Company has issued a total of 158,376 shares of US$0.005 common stock ("Shares") to its independent Board of Directors, pursuant to its independent director remuneration scheme, for the stock portion of their annual retainer which vests on the 2015 Annual General Meeting date, (each with less than 1% ownership) as set out below:
