Embargoed: 0700hrs, 28 June 2007 Energy Asset Management PLC ("Energy Asset Management" or the "Company") Strategic Alliance with IMServ Energy Asset Management PLC's wholly owned subsidiary, Energy Assets, is delighted to announce the formation of an alliance with the UK's largest and most experienced independent energy data collector, IMServ, part of Invensys plc. The agreement is structured to enable a reciprocal provision of skills and services to provide energy users with a complete and reliable energy data collection and management solution. Since its establishment in 1992 IMServ has built a considerable and unrivalled presence in the collection and management of electricity data for both the half-hourly and non half-hourly electricity markets. Their clients range from multiple site retailers, such as Alliance Boots, to manufacturing businesses and local and national government organisations, such as Thames Valley Police and MOD. Existing and new customers are increasingly demanding similar solutions for their gas consumption, to allow a complete energy data collection and management solution. This is an area where Energy Assets' skills will provide IMServ with the ability to confidently deliver its clients a complete energy solution. Energy Assets' role will include the exchange of gas meters, where the current meter technology does not allow for the collection of data and the fitting of dataloggers, as well as the infrastructure for the ongoing management of information. In a like for like exchange of skills, IMServ's electricity meter installation, operation and data collection infrastructure will be available to Energy Assets to provide to its customers. Managing Director of Energy Asset Management, Alan McKeating, commented, "IMServ are unrivalled in their experience in electricity meter operation and data collection in the UK. For them to commit to an alliance with Energy Assets is a tremendous endorsement of our growing reputation in the sector and, in particular, for gas related services. As a result of this agreement, we expect to significantly grow our customer base, which already includes such businesses as Marks & Spencer and Woolworths. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with IMServ." Managing Director of IMServ, Steve Brown, said, "This exciting new relationship provides a positive move in the world of energy solutions and a great opportunity to deliver complete end to end gas solutions to the market place. IMServ has been impressed with both Alan McKeating and his team and we feel that through fusing both companies' operational and technical capabilities this robust alliance will assist to eliminate the recognised hurdles that many energy users are facing within the energy arena. We look forward to this innovative relationship with Energy Assets."
