Statement re share price movement
Elitel Telecom S.p.A. ("Elitel" or the "Company") (AIM: ETM), announces that it
has noted the recent fall in its share price.
The Company has not reported any fundamental changes to its business model or
financial condition and that it continues to trade in line with market
expectations. Since reporting results for the year to 31 December 2005 on 2 June
2006, Elitel has announced the acquisition of Telecontatto S.r.l. and the option
to acquire Blixer Net Services S.r.l. Both acqusitions are expected to make a
positive contribution to the Company in the current year. Elitel anticipates
that the results for the six months to 30 June 2006 will be announced during the
week commencing 25 September 2006.
