Elitel Telecom (AIM: ETM), the independent Italian telecommunications group,
announces that at the shareholders meeting held yesterday certain changes in the
Company's Board of Directors were resolved.



Following the recent acquisition (March 1, 2007) by Vive La Vie SpA and Telvia
SpA of a 58.01% interest in the Group announced on 1 March 2007 shareholders
approved the appointment of Ms. Cristina Nati (42 years old) as a Director. Ms.
Nati is responsible for Vive La Vie's operations in the Tuscany region of Italy
and is the Managing Director for two affiliate companies- Agescom S.p.A. and
Publicom S.p.A. - in which Vive La Vie is a shareholder alongside leading
regional public sector companies.  Prior to Vive La Vie's acquisition of
Alet.net SpA in 2005, which expanded its presence in Tuscany, she was a
consultant to Alet.net's managing director providing support in a variety of
operational and administrative functions as well as serving on the company's
board of directors.  Before entering the telecommunications sector in 2004, Ms
Nati had a background in marketing and public relations, having headed the
marketing and communications department for nearly half of her 13 year tenure
with the Italian arm of Baxter International Inc., a major American
pharmaceutical company.  In addition to her private sector experience, Ms. Nati
has also held governmental roles with and provided consulting support to Italy's
Environmental Ministry.  Ms Nati has a degree in English and German.



The Group confirms that no other details are required to be disclosed under
paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.



At the same time shareholders' accepted the resignations of Messrs. Umberto de
Julio and Oliver Novick as Directors of the Group with immediate effect. Umberto
de Julio and Oliver Novick areadvisors to Kiwi II Ventura-Servicos de
Consultoria S.A. ("Kiwi II") a venture capital firm whose majority stake of
58,01% in Elitel Telecom was acquired by Vive La Vie SpA and Telvia SpA.

Telecom SpA.  Following Vive La Vie's acquisition of Alet.net in 2005, she
immediately stood out as a highly capable individual and has been instrumental
in facilitating this acquisition."
