Issue of Equity / Offer Closed


The Directors of Electra Kingsway VCT 3 plc are pleased to announce allotments
on 5 April 2006 of 5,563,258 ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares"),
payable at 100p per share, pursuant to the Offer for Subscription that opened on
14 October 2005 ("the Offer").


Within the allotments on 5 April 2006, Nicholas Ross, a Director, was allotted
51,500 Ordinary Shares at a price of #1 per share and Mark Speeks, a member of
the management team, was allotted 25,750 Ordinary Shares at a price of #1 per
share, representing 0.15% and 0.07% respectively of the issued share capital


Application will be made at the earliest practicable opportunity for these
shares, which will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, to be admitted
to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London
Stock Exchange's market for listed securities.


The issued share capital of the Company is now 35,088,835 Ordinary Shares.
The Offer closed on 5 April 2006.
