Electra Kingsway VCT 3 PLC (the "Company")

ISSUE OF EQUITY

Electra Kingsway VCT 3 plc announces that at a board meeting held on 21 
December 2005, 1,703,039 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each were issued and 
allotted to various subscribers at a price of 100 pence per share under the 
2005/06 Offer for Subscription.  The current issued share capital of the Company
is now 3,045,098 Ordinary Shares.

Application will be made at the earliest practicable opportunity for these 
shares, which will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, to be admitted 
to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London 
Stock Exchange's market for listed securities.
