Take a look at the chart from the date it was posted John and without looking myself I know you will find that they rose before falling.

Do you think CAT made or lost on these ?

Answers on a postcard.

I haven't looked into it but given that Au. will go to sub £3, maybe £2.. then I guess this is a basket case too ?

Now valued at less than the value of the cash (there is no debt) in the company. No need to sell the Autonomy stake. In the last half year they netted £34.3m from selling 1 m Autonomy shares. Sentiment is rotten but the shares are very, very cheap.

Things have changed a great deal since posted on 25th Jan. Today they mirrored AU. without delay. Even good news at Spurs will have trouble lifting this now.

Are they going to sell the stake they have at these levels?

MMs all moving nicely North - picked up a few bags myself earlier. Steady yet small buying, Autonomy continuing to move up too, could be some gains to be had.

AFX news today.Have announced intention decision to sell AU. and Rangers.
What is the net worth of these two holdings compared to their price of 105p?
Anyone can help me?

I have just worked out that Enic's share of Au. is worth 53p/share ( assuming 40% tax on sale of its holding) Price today 109p. Uncertainty over Victor Chandler out of the way.
Anyone know the value of its football holdings in Rangers, Spurs + other European clubs ?
Any buyers of ENIC out there?

With AU. ending the day over 11% up just look at ENI stakes value now.

With Autonomy up about 7% already this morning just look at the value of this share holding alone. As AU. goes up so will this when the penny drops.
I am a buyer again.

I was but sold last week on the back of press rumours that all was not well with the bid for Victor Chandler, the online bookie. The way the markets have been any stories like this send people running for the exits and I had already lost enough on this one. If this turns out not to be true or immaterial to share price then I may jump back in as on the face of it they are undervalued imho. Has anyone else heard anything about VC? I'm not quite sure though about the spectrum of all their various interests - Warner Bros Stores, Vegas Restaurants, Victor Chandler, Paradigm, Glasgow Rangers, stake in Autonomy - seems a bit of a hotchpotch to me but that's just my opinion.

With AU. powering ahead, this should be adding more value.
Watch this follow AU. price upwards if it joins the 100
Anyone else in on this?
