09/2/2008 16:30 | david77 oh now I see, thank you, one lives and one learns....sometimes. Bangor ditto "buckets" even given up whistling to take my mind of it. Sorry I cant offer any words of comfort. Though what ever happens in the credit markets or what ever happens geopoliticaly from gentle harmony to all out war it is very difficult to imagine a world that wouldnt require more investment in electricity, water, gas and oil. | praipus
09/2/2008 13:00 | I'm weeping buckets here. This used to be a beautiful symmetrical chart (purely coincidental that its only projection was upwards!) Can someone convince me it will recover, pleeease... | bangor

07/2/2008 17:37 | Why are you worried Paipus? Increase from 835.561m (30 Jan) to 844.174m (31 Jan) in gross assets is just over 1%. The FTSE moves more than that in a day. | david77
07/2/2008 16:57 | Bit concerned by the NAV date on this being 31st Jan which is only the day after last weeks NAV RNS. So is the date wrong or the NAV figures wrong or both? 04/2/2008 15:43 | Wasnt clever enough to sell when you did Mangal but have been buying....although the trades are not showing...possibly due to the new off market settlement systems which worry me from an accountability and Northern Rock point of view. 30/1/2008 10:39 | Cher Price - thanks very interesting your in good company, has written some very interesting books. "Investment Biker", "Investment Capitalist" and "Hot Commodities" were a great pleasure to read and very pro commodities. He has got another out that I havent read yet "A Bull in China". I'm not convinced it requires moving assets away from Ecofin though. You are getting Private Equity or succesful Hedge Fund type returns with an IT so foolish to move IMHO (you do have to expect volatitlity though). Also Ecofin do invest in commodities so in a way your exposed to the sector through energy price movement and water both required in significant quantites during the production, storage and distribution of agricultural commodities. | praipus
