    Japan Bank for International Cooperation Issues Global Dollar Bond

    - Seventeenth Issuance in International Capital Market -


    1.    Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC; Governor: Koji Tanami) issued a fixed rate Global Dollar Bond (the "Bond") with
Japanese government guarantee. The terms of issuance were decided on June 11, 2007. The issue was sold to prime international investors
mostly in Asia, Europe and the United States.

    2.    The main terms of the Bond:

 Amount            1,500 million US Dollar


 Market             Global Market


 Maturity            5 years (due on June 18, 2013)


 Payment date    June 18 and December 18 of each year,
 commencing December 18, 2008


 Coupon rate     4.25% (Semi-Annual, 30/360)


 Issue price        99.511% (Re-offer yield: 4.360%)
