Posted at 19/12/2007 22:57 by jimibt sdt7618 - i've honestly got no idea, tho' the positives are that the extent of the issue is some $3m, so hardly a major concern (1.6mUKP). a very massive over-reaction in terms of what's at stake. could be one of those ones that either marches straight up on the back of 'investor' pre-orders. very difficult to read. however, the bit that got my interest was the strategic review RNS, that really is quite interesting as they state that the focus will be consolidation and maximising value for shareholders. this basically means that the company will sell off some of it's assets to offset the losses today, so basically a flag being waved to keep the bigger investors happy. based on this, i 'imagine' the price will trend back up.famous last words ;) |
Posted at 19/12/2007 17:30 by mryesyes I think it is a buy for the investor who cuts the existing shareholders out of the equation |
Posted at 19/12/2007 17:16 by jimibt update from bloomberg (much the same as in RNS's). however, the broker note still recommends it as a buy.In September, Numis Securities analyst Will Wallis forecast EAG's 2007 operating profit would be about $17 million. Numis Securities is the house broker for EAG. He recommends investors buy the stock. |
