Posted at 04/3/2020 13:26 by sharw What a shambles. This morning I received a poll card for the AGM saying that the notice of meeting and report and a/cs are on the website. They are not. I emailed the contact address on the website and received a 'could not be delivered' message saying "access denied". I have now emailed the other (investor) address on the website. That has not yet bounced.Update 15 15 received email apologising for delay - it is now there: |

Posted at 15/11/2017 09:00 by ansc Brad44 - If they can't find any information on dividends, then it's time you changed broker! Refer them to Dyson's website [ click on the 'Investor Information' icon and they'll find most of the information there. |
Posted at 15/11/2017 07:40 by brad44 See the response from III below. looks like i will have to do their job for themThank you for your secure message dated 11 November 2017 Your stock in Dyson stopped trading from the market back on the 17 July 2009, since then the company has not been trading as a public limited company. I have checked for these dividends you refer too and I am unable to find these dates. Are you sure these dividends payments do not relate to private shareholders within the company? If you could provide me with a link to where you found this information i will be happy to continue to investigate this for you. Alternatively i have provided contact details for the company itself if you wish to check your enititled for any dividends. Posted at 03/6/2015 15:51 by jamrol so has there been any investor news in the last couple of months ? |
Posted at 03/3/2015 14:34 by ansc Having spoken with the co sec this morning, I discovered that the 2014 results had been lurking on the company website when I'd looked first thing this morning; having got to the Investor Relations - News Archive page, all I could see there was the year ending 30 September 2013 Report & Accounts but, owing to some quirk in cyberspace, I needed to 'Refresh' this page and voila up pops the 2014 R & A.As you wrote sharw, a shocking year for Dyson Technical Ceramics - turnover down 40%, loss of £1.5m - with the prospects for 2015 not looking a great deal better either. The Property Business side, however, could be the saviour again this year and, with the way things are shaping up, could possibly become DYS's main earner in the future with engineering as a mere subsidiary (imho). |

Posted at 10/1/2014 14:39 by ansc I e-mailed the company secretary [r.mcquinn@dyson-gro'With the Dyson Group now consisting of just the Technical Ceramics business, as a shareholder, I am hoping that the Annual Results can be published much earlier than last year. Has a date been fixed yet for their release? It is very disappointing that the last 'News' entry in the company's website was way back on 3 May last year. As this is the only way for shareholders to attempt to monitor the recovery progress of the group since the recent disastrous episode, surely long suffering and supportive shareholders deserve better than this disdainful treatment? Private shareholders may only account for a fraction of the issued share capital now but, after all, they still own part of the company.' This was his lame reply received yesterday: 'I have now had an opportunity to discuss the production date for our accounts with my CEO. We are on with their preparation at present and have the auditors working on them at present. We aim to finish that process by the end of January when they can be submitted for board approval so we are aiming for a mid February despatch date. The accounts remain relatively complex due to additional work following sales of businesses. This does not impinge too greatly this year as it did last, although we did sell the Builders Centre. I can appreciate your frustration but I hope you understand.' If it takes them 4.5 months to prepare the company accounts for last year - I have no idea what was meant by 'The accounts remain relatively complex due to additional work following sales of businesses' - you can forget any thoughts of being relisted this year. At that rate, even when they ever decide to (highly unlikely in the immediate future imho), it will take them at least 18 months to get everything ready! Note his complete disregard of my comment regarding the treatment of small, private investors. Until other agrieved shareholders air their feelings to the directors, they are not going to change this approach. |
Posted at 20/8/2009 08:33 by garth Suspect that some of the damage must have already in place - the "Carolite era" team: chairman, CEO, FD leave to be replaced - did the new team destroy the company or did they take over a legacy of crippling debt from the failed Carolite venture in a period of unprecedented down-turn? Have to say that in my years of small-cap investing I have never encountered a less investor-accessible FD than Mr Kinsella. Did he really exist? Miserable. |
