19/12/2007 09:33 | Not that solid Blackdown. Very uncertain if you ask me. Market doesn't seem to like them either unfortunately. Jock | jockthescot
19/12/2007 07:51 | A solid set of results. Like everybody else, DTZ will be affected by the economic environment, but there is a reasonable chance of a bid within the next year or so. The company must be vulnerable at its current valuation. | blackdown2
11/12/2007 07:59 | Some additional substantial shareholders on the register too. | blackdown2
10/12/2007 12:48 | Results have been brought forward a month to 19th Dec, from january as was done last year. I'd say that's a positive sign, as they probably want to highlight a lack of armegeddon sooner rather than later. | sammu
02/12/2007 19:32 | DTZ is a quality operator. The sector will, at some stage - perhaps in the near term - undergo some global consolidation, and DTZ must be a candidate for being bought out. I imagine that the shares are reasonably tightly held; any significant buying will send the share price up sharply. | blackdown2
01/12/2007 21:37 | for me a close above 400 would be a sign of good times on the roll .. meanwhile I am a buyer still .. managed to get more at 304 and 323 in November. | v01101999
01/12/2007 09:02 | Sustained rise of 7% off the YTD low on Tuesday - could that have been the bottom or is this just being boosted in the short term by the Christmas rally and further anticipation of rate cuts in both the US and the UK. | masurenguy
29/11/2007 17:48 | v - you could well be right. I bought a tad early at 360p and am tempted to add. | blackdown2
28/11/2007 15:28 | If it keeps dropping like this and I keep picking in the dips, I think very soon one of these "significant holdings" would be mine :-) .. have collect a lot of these over last 1 year, right from 600 p level and now all of that is showing a huge red .. but I still feel that the market is not pricing them correctly and one way or the other, they will turn around and my pickings will bear fruit .. | v01101999
27/11/2007 18:06 | There are some significant holdings on the share register. | blackdown2
26/11/2007 21:14 | I see that last year the November trading statement was due to higher than forecast profits. So the lack of one this year, I think, means that profits in January will not be more than 10% above or below market expectations. | sammu
23/11/2007 09:06 | Next one will be January | blackdown2
21/11/2007 20:30 | There was a trading statement 14.11.06 so I think we are due one now, I thought it was going to be today. Soon hopefully. | sammu
15/11/2007 16:44 | somebody has been picking up the sales... CM ?? | shaken
08/11/2007 10:42 | Relatively small portion of income is in $. This stock could be bottoming out. It is less dependent on pure brokerage than a company like Savills. | blackdown2
05/11/2007 12:33 | Probably in sympathy with SVS. Market predicting the future and it doesn't look good with the dollar crumbling. | johnrxx99
05/11/2007 12:06 | Volumes haven't been particularly large, so share price fall seems to be overdone. Anyone know any reason ? | daveninvest
05/11/2007 10:57 | I have added more to my existing holding though I seem to have missed the low of the (it has fallen further) .. Bit contradictory .. AEGON selling/Grouppo CM buying and company on very attractive valuation by any standard .. | v01101999
05/11/2007 09:40 | FD is as surprised as I am at this fall...I feel sure there will be a statement soon if this continues... | nurdin
03/11/2007 12:11 | I see that 'Groupe CM and Piedelievre & Associes' took their holding to 23.49% of voting shares after hours Friday. What's the trigger for a bid ? | daveninvest
09/10/2007 09:25 | I can not see any news on DTZ website. I think this may be due to lack of news. | mhrangoon
08/10/2007 09:43 | I am asking the same question to my self! .. agreed commercial property sector has seen general malaise lately but still the drop is not justified given the strong fundamentals .. I am planning to add some more at these levels. | v01101999
06/10/2007 01:12 | Why share price is dropping? | mhrangoon
02/9/2007 18:40 | This is really important. I had been waiting for our friends to make an appearence very some, sometimes impatiently. v01101999 - 10 Apr'07 - 09:59 - 118 of 189 edit v01101999 - 4 Jun'07 - 11:41 - 131 of 189 edit v01101999 - 6 Jun'07 - 15:51 - 141 of 189 edit They did seem to have good knack for when to buy. Very true, last time they took the shares all the way up to 840 where I sold half of my holding (which paid for my new car :-) ). Have been building up the on the dips since then and i was beginning to get nervous with the straight line drop, even though the results and everything else about the company were pointing to a positive fundamentals. In that light, the news about increased stake from a long term share holder (Grouppo CM) is a very welcome news and indicates a bottom. | v01101999 |
