Dmatek Lands contracts in France and Spain
European Operations Continue to Expand
Dmatek Ltd. (LSE: DTK.L), the provider of leading electronic monitoring
technologies, today announces two European contracts: a new agreement to provide
offender monitoring systems to the local penitentiary service in Paris, France
and a further extension of the Company's contract with the Community of Madrid,
Spain for Domestic Violence systems. These new lease contracts are valued at
over $1 million for 2008.
Dmatek provides offender monitoring and tracking systems to several intensive
supervision programmes ran by the penitentiary authorities in France and Spain.
Both countries have expanded significantly the usage of such systems in 2007,
showing over 40% growth compared with 2006.
Dmatek's CEO, Yoav Reisman stated: "The European law enforcement market
continues to expand and provides us with ample growth opportunities. We are very
pleased with these contracts which brace our market position."
Last week, Dmatek reported that trading in the second half of the year continued
at an accelerated pace, bringing the total revenues for the year to more than
$44 million, compared with $26.8 million last year and $20 million for H1 2007.
Dmatek will announce its results for the twelve months ended 31 December 2007 on
4 March 2008.
