07/11/2017 10:28 | Nortic 007 - 07 Nov 2017 - 10:19 - 2735 of 2735 - 0I'm looking forward to this UA and so are all the other posters on here. Please everyone check DC. posts from about 22nd August onwards.UA / Weemonkey once again you've made yourself look like a chump. Also take a look at SPD . I sold out and made 50k.UA can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong. | nortic 007
07/11/2017 10:27 | Nortic 007 - 07 Nov 2017 - 10:15 - 2734 of 2735 - 0I've just unfiltered you because I've been watching DC. for the last 30p downward tick. I then saw your name come up this morning on DC. and then on FOXT around the same time and thought you might be giving it the large one and low and behold I was correct. If you recall UA I bought 190/- ( average 178 ish but please check my posts)DC. and I sold my last 50/- at 194 and change and then invested in TSCO. I made just under 30k on that trade so can you please tell me who's the mug.If everyone would like to check my posts in DC. then you will see that once again I tell the truth. You my dear boy are someone who flicks a coin and calls heads and when it eventually comes up after seeing nine tails in a row then says "I was right"....... pathetic.I made my money in it and if you had followed me you would have done the same.Plus you also go under the name of weemonkey which is really very sad.Once again you've been caught out my old China.I will give you the right to reply because I'm looking forward to your lame answer and the you shall once again be sent to room 101.I warned you not to take me on.... | nortic 007
07/11/2017 10:24 | undervaluedassets - 07 Nov 2017 - 08:38 - 2733 of 2735 - 0Hi Nortic..See you are in another loser..Have you seen your precious DC. lately? | nortic 007
07/11/2017 10:23 | Sorry to interrupt your posts gentlemen but I just thought you should see the Cr@p UA has just written in FOXT . | nortic 007
07/11/2017 10:15 | I said it earlier, these are already good value unless trading has fallen off a cliff and the report today doesn't help us. Chart looks like a one-way ticket to tears and tantrums but I still see this price as very good value... however I won't average down until we tickle the 140s... | rathean
07/11/2017 10:04 | Wowsers, that chart looks horrific. I like Dixons, it's my first stop for everything electric nowadays. I spend a small fortune there at times. What on earth is happening to the shareprice ?! | american idiot
07/11/2017 10:01 | Latest from retail consortium might be a reason for the mark down Retail sales shrank by 1.0% on a like-for-like basis in October, compared to a year ago, according to the British Retail Consortium. Worryingly, non-food retail sales shrank by 0.4% over the last quarter on a like-for-like basis -- the worst reading since the BRC started counting in January 2011. That includes a 2.9% slump in sales of non-food items within stores (rather than online). hxxps://brc.org.uk/n Although there is black friday to look forward to hxxps://www.currys.c | s2lowner
07/11/2017 09:59 | This is where buyers came in previously could be worth a punt (with stops) if trading | tim 3
07/11/2017 09:42 | this is a retailer with a strong online offering - it will survive and prosper! The retailers you mentioned sold outdated stuff! | ricer93
07/11/2017 08:36 | This is next Comet, Woolworths, Jessops, HMV .... This is gone Unlike SPD which will survive cos they own everything (stock, brands, buildings, equity holdings elsewhere etc etc) DC. owns nothing. There is nothing behind this stock, It is an empty bag | undervaluedassets
07/11/2017 08:28 | Only 3p off the low,will the buyers come in? | tim 3
06/11/2017 09:38 | Amazon is not the gorilla, it is Mr Smith from the Matrix. In the short term that's a positive for dixons as market leading retailers seek safety through consolidation... Sainsbury Argos, this lot and perhaps Tesco. A lot of share value to be had in the next few year's before Neo's final battle :) | rathean
06/11/2017 09:06 | Exactly bookbroker. As an example £8.50 a month on a £500 laptop over 5 years = £510! JS is right though people do take them but its mainly because of the high pressure selling techniques the sales people are taught. They are hugely profitable for DC. | tim 3
06/11/2017 08:17 | Fxxk Argos. Amazon is the Gorilla here Amazon (and online in general) is going to brush this company aside. I use Curry's and CPW as showrooms. I look, handle the goods, ask questions and get advice and then buy online cheaper... sometimes while still standing in the store. | undervaluedassets
04/11/2017 16:41 | Well I'd say instant replacement on a Microwave and accidental damage on a TV are worthwhile and regardless of your buying habits not everyone is like you - the punters do buy them Plus the items on Credit @ 19.9% APR all very profitable plus the installation services from Know How | jsforum
04/11/2017 16:03 | Js Extended warranties good value really sorry must disagree there.Do you buy them?Do you know how much they make from them !£8.50 a month on a £500 laptop from day one when you already have a first year warranty is not good value in my book. | tim 3
04/11/2017 12:05 | Don't overlook the trial of Currys in Tesco Extra stores. Currys are savvy retailers with all sorts of income streams from manufacturers just to have their products on display in their shops. The Know How service is really popular and customers do buy the extended warranties which offer great value and peace of mind The iPhone X looks expensive but the new Samsung is impressive and much better priced. The Carphone Warehouse stands are at the front of the stores and are often the busiest areas. The August trade update forecast profit before tax of 360 - 400 million making the current share price look decent value. I'm buying. | jsforum
04/11/2017 11:22 | HI Other than Carfone stand alone shops where Argos are not really competition DC has very few shops left on the high street now and most are very small turnover compared with superstores. Argos moving into Sainsburys probably increases competition because more people will have easy access to Argos than before.imo The Argos in the Sainsburys here gets really busy its the closest electrical outlet to me and many people round here. Anyway good luck you are right Xmas will be key. | tim 3
04/11/2017 10:36 | In at 163.7, chart looks shocking but I doubt much more downside before we see sanity return. Apple bullish over iPhone sales, Dixon offering short term deferred payment plan over Xmas increases sales and risk, but helps maintain market share. More Argos stores going into Sainsburys stores decreasing it's exposure on the high street... | rathean
03/11/2017 17:08 | Within 10p of the interday low when they warned (154). | tim 3
03/11/2017 10:31 | I think that's sensible city needs to see some evidence things are getting better.Frankly in this environment can't see many rushing out to buy these however cheap they appear. | tim 3
03/11/2017 10:06 | Been watching for a while and you would have to say that the valuation metrics look pretty undemanding at the moment. I am inclined to wait until the next update before making a decision as to whether to get on board. | salpara111
02/11/2017 15:01 | Apple reports tonight,I Phone sales will be interesting. | tim 3 |
