IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 22  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DataLogic International,
Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: DLGI; Berlin, Frankfurt Stock Exchange: 779612) a
technology and professional services company providing a wide range of
consulting services and telecommunications products such as VoIP equipment and
GPS vehicle tracking devices, today announced that the company plans to offer
its VoIP products directly to consumers sometime next month.

Under the new initiative, DataLogic will serve as a retail arm for IPN
Communications, its majority owned subsidiary.  The company will seek to form
global strategic alliances with various retail channels to market and sell its
products.  It will also launch a separate web site that will offer product
purchase and account management online.

The company's initial product suite will include a compact USB handheld phone,
an Ethernet desktop phone, and an IP Phone adapter.  The USB compact handheld,
i300, is ideal for mobile users.  It can be plugged into a laptop or desktop
computer with a wired or wireless Internet connection to make discounted or
free long distance calls anywhere in the world.

The Ethernet desktop phone, i450, is ideal for home or office use.  It plugs
into a router or network and functions very similarly to a conventional phone
with excellent clarity.

The IP Phone adapter, v22, is a network device that plugs in between a router
or network and a conventional analog phone.  This device essentially allows a
conventional phone to make and receive VoIP calls.  It can also serve as an
additional line on a multi-line phone.

All calls made will be routed through the company's communication server. All
IP to IP calls anywhere in the world will be free of charge.  IP to
conventional phone calls are charged at a discounted long distance rate based
on the destination.  There is no required contract or monthly service charge.
All account usages are prepaid online with unused minutes to be carried over
indefinitely.

While a prominent player in the VoIP business-to-business market since the
middle of 2003, DataLogic has recently started to focus on the retail consumer
market with new, easier to use products, and the ability to purchase phones
online.  These new features will enable the company to more effectively
penetrate the rapidly growing retail VoIP market for telecommunications.
