DataLogic International Receives Communications Infrastructure Order From Northern New Mexico College's El Rito Campus

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 11  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DataLogic International, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: DLGI; Berlin, Frankfurt Stock Exchange: 779612), a provider of consulting services and communication solutions including GPS-based mobile asset tracking, secured mobile communications and VoIP, today announced receipt of an order to upgrade the communications infrastructure of the El Rito campus of Northern New Mexico College, which enrolls approximately 2,000 students per semester.

The project will include installing new fiber-optics cable and Category 5E data lines to connect dormitories, adding WI-FI capabilities to conference rooms and installing new VoIP telephones.

In addition to benefiting students, the project is intended to enhance the ability of the El Rito campus to attract students from outside the area to northern New Mexico for continuing education programs.  The College plans to offer week-long class sessions on computer programming, welding, traditional New Mexico wood carving, and weaving.  Visiting students will have the opportunity to stay in the dormitories and will be able to use the new communications infrastructure for telephone and Internet access.
