DataLogic International Appoints John Vangel General Counsel

IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 16  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DataLogic International, Inc., (OTC:DLGI) (BULLETIN BOARD: DLGI)  (Berlin, Frankfurt Stock Exchange: 779612), a provider of consulting services and communications solutions including GPS-based mobile asset tracking, secured mobile communications and VoIP, today announced the appointment of John Vangel as General Counsel.

John Vangel brings more than 15 years legal, transactional and entrepreneurial experience to DataLogic International.  Since 2003, he has provided legal and corporate development advisory services to emerging growth companies, with an emphasis on wireless telecommunications.  Mr. Vangel was previously a co-founder and Vice President-Business Development for HR One Inc., a human resources solutions provider, where he was responsible for acquisition and business development strategy.  For ten years prior to HR One, Mr. Vangel advised private and public companies in a broad range of corporate finance, mergers and acquisition and strategic partnering transactions at the law firms of Davis Polk & Wardwell and Pillsbury Madison & Sutro.  His work focused on telecommunications clients, including AirTouch Communications, PCS PrimeCo and Vodafone PLC.

Mr. Vangel holds an A.B. from Harvard College, a M.B.A. from the University of Texas-Austin and a J.D. from the Columbia Law School.
