02/3/2008 19:44 | Hi both, Yes , I am in Cyprus. I would not like to forecast a price - I simply have confidence that this is a good growth share. Time alone will tell if my confidence is justified. The technology looks brilliant with them proving it works on small runs of mill they have to prove they can ramp up production. If it all works out right the potential in diamond mining around the world is enormous. Grasfontein Project looks excellent, and recent Directors buy, which I always like. Regards Steve | cyprussteve
02/3/2008 17:53 | are you based in cyprus steve? | panagos
02/3/2008 17:38 | Looking good... I am sure in the next few weeks this share will rise... but will it hit 10p?? That is my big question. | askewg
02/3/2008 14:37 | I am no great fan of the British Bulls website, but, I notice they have today marked DTEC as a "Buy". Regards Steve | cyprussteve
01/3/2008 20:55 | As a new poster to this board, I offer a view as below. I made a few phone calls this afternoon relating to both DTEC and DIP,both of which I am trying to research in more detail, to two quite well connected large, almost professional investors - ( one used to be a market maker ) - who I know in the UK - I used to be in an investment club there, which is how I met them. Both were surprised I was asking about these shares, as, they said they had held quite a few conversations recently on both Companies , and knew several investors who had both on their watch list. One actually told me he was going to take a holding in DTEC himself after our convo, and, was seriously thinking about DIP. The common view was that both shares appear to have "bottomed", and, whilst speculative, they felt both Companies were undervalued. Not sure how much help this is, but, I pass it on for what its worth. I would welcome other views please. Regards Steve | cyprussteve
01/3/2008 12:46 | H D Snoring, 17.2% as of interims. DTEC had (i said had)market cap 22m at that time. i had a feeling CVS were unloading DTEC but have'nt seen an RNS to confirm that. | humbugg
01/3/2008 10:04 | Cheers that clears it up .Do you know how much of dtec ,cvs has ? | h d shoring
01/3/2008 08:52 | H D Snoring, i have stakes in CVS,NAN,DTEC all recent purchases(except NAN), ive been in NAN since the last bottom. i bought some DTEC and got out as it was still falling, back in now. as for CVS, made some serious wedge on the last bounce and am back in. i was making fun of myself for investing in ARs portfolio. the games afoot. | humbugg
29/2/2008 14:59 | looks good to me (in terms of the low price just now) cf placing price of 12.5p (May 2007). On 12 Feb 2008, they said they'd secured funding to accelerate deployment of the LRCs, so in the final straight, IMO, after a long wait since the float (May 2007). All coming together? There was a 250k buy today. From the placing document: DiamondTech will be the holding company of a group of companies that own the intellectual property rights to the laser recovery unit (LRU), a diamond sorting machine. It plans to commercialise the technology through revenue sharing agreements with holders of mineral rights in South Africa. Its first deal is with DB Mining, to mine the Grasfontein diamond field. Other countries will be explored in the future. | andrbea
29/2/2008 14:41 | your view sounds logical H D. | panagos
29/2/2008 14:40 | The idea I think was to use this plant as a show piece for clients so they can see one working in the flesh .Thus the urgency to get this one going . | h d shoring
29/2/2008 14:25 | this was 9p in Sept 2007 so some fall.... in part, maybe, due to the power shortages issue in SA (still ongoing) they did say they were eyeing other countries so once the technique is shown to work (next update?), it could be sold to operators in other countries then that 'power constraint' would be gone. | andrbea
29/2/2008 13:40 | Yes I think so. | affhouse
29/2/2008 13:35 | isn't it by end of March? last rns said Q1 2008 | andrbea
29/2/2008 13:34 | What a good instinct to buy. :-) | affhouse
29/2/2008 12:54 | OK, couldn't resist just bought another 12k shares. We're expecting news in March/April... please be good news. Aff | affhouse
29/2/2008 09:30 | Humbugg . can we take it then that your posts 89 and 95 were just an attempt to talk the share price down and you see nothing fundamentally wrong with the company .??? | h d shoring
28/2/2008 21:45 | The 100,000 was a buy as well it was mine,I also bought the same amount yeaterday.Like Drewster I like the technology and if they get it working at full capacity the share price should take off,If it fails hmm.Worth a punt at this level though. | kenatbabken
28/2/2008 18:39 | Buy went through at 2.15p pm so may be about to turn??? | h d shoring
28/2/2008 18:31 | been watching these all the way down ... still watching, but must be getting near the bottom, small caps are totally out of favour as those with burnt fingers (forearms in many cases) have to realise cash. Love this technology, and think it might just be a bit better than the price suggests. That said, I still wait for now. | the drewster |
