Dear Sirs,

Notification pursuant to s198 Companies Act 1985 ("the Act")

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Group Limited ("DrKWG") is an indirect subsidiary
of Allianz AG.


The shares in DrKWG are held by Dresdner Investments (UK) plc ("Dresdner
Investments"), a wholly-owned direct subsidiary of Zenon Beteiligungs GmbH
("Zenon") which is itself a wholly-owned direct subsidiary of Dresdner Bank AG
("Dresdner"). Dresdner is a direct subsidiary of Allianz Finanzbeteiligungs GmbH
("Allianz Finanz") which is itself a direct subsidiary of Allianz AG.


DrKWG is the holding company of KBPB Holdings Limited, together with its
subsidiaries. As a result of s203(2) of the Act, Allianz AG, Allianz Finanz,
Dresdner, Dresdner Investments, Zenon and DrKWG are interested in the Dresdner
RCM Income Growth Investment Trust plc ordinary 5p shares in which KBPB Holdings
Limited, together with its subsidiaries are interested.


On 3rd April and 2nd April, 3,802 and 10,254 shares were transferred out of a
discretionary PEP holding of Kleinwort Benson Private Bank Limited ("KBPB"),
which together with transfers out of the discretionary management of KBPB and
sales of shares of 1,977 (4th April), 7,776 (23rd March) and 3,760 (19th March)
result in reductions in the disclosable interests within the Allianz AG group of
companies.


We hereby notify you that the disclosable interest of Allianz AG and
subsidiaries in the ordinary share capital of your company amounts to 9,580,128
shares representing 28.906% (previously 29.353%) of the ordinary issued share
capital of 33,142,522 shares, as advised by yourselves.


The notifiable disclosures in respect of this reduction is as follows:-


 1. KBPB Holdings Limited, DrKWG, Dresdner Investments, Zenon, Dresdner, Allainz
    Finanz and Allianz AG are interested in 9,580,128 ordinary shares
    representing 28.906% (previously 29.353%) of the issued share capital. These
    interests arise as a result of s203(2) of the Act.
