Yesterdays post!

Bought these today. Look at that chart for a nice breakout on above daily daily average volume and some nice single large buys too. A North Sea Oiler with mkt cap £13 mill. Unheard of aint it!



Chart says 40p next stop and still dirt cheap IMO.

Yup agree with you TOPINFO on DEO as i mentioned DEO yesterday morning before i went out for the day to see the football. In a really hot oil & gas sector the likes of DEO have still not imo been fully noticed. Could see DEO having a very strong run now up to say £1+

Ithaca Energy Inc. ("Ithaca" or "the Company") (TSX:IAE)(AIM:IAE) announced on January 23, 2012, that it had received a
confidential, non-binding proposal to acquire all of the outstanding shares of the Company (the "Proposal"). Ithaca also
stated that discussions were at a preliminary stage and that there was no certainty that the approach would lead to an
offer being made for the Company. Discussions continue regarding the Proposal.

The Company has also received unsolicited interest from a number of third parties. The Board of Ithaca believes that it
is in shareholders best interests that the Company enters into discussions with all bona fide interested parties with a
view to maximising shareholder value.

The Board is being advised by CIBC World Markets Inc ("CIBC") in this respect.

The Board wishes to stress that discussions with all parties are at a preliminary stage and there can be no certainty of
an offer being made for the Company.

The Company does not intend to provide further updates unless an offer is made for the Company.

well rhu the recent funding is almost over and the concencos is the placement will be 10p so that should give a solid base.
i also am in for the danish projects but
belize will be the icing on the cake if they find what the have in the CPR
( 294mmbls p50 ) on just A & B Crest and an updated CPR to come in teh next month or two
tom its not.

as for aex the latest drill at Natoya is going deeper again to test another possable formation after the gas discovery at 2668meters and tullow pulling out means aex has 75% plus the empire asia / reighwood group alliance i think is very exciting .

anyway back on topic

I've looked. It was being pushed when it was 4p and I sort of tarred it with the same brush as the TOM big ramp. I should have looked harder - I might take a position on a fallback but it would be mainly for the Danish assets... I don't like S American plays and clearly Argentina isn't going to be friendly to UK cos is Our Friends in the SFB do the business.

Was in AEX but sold out at 5p pre recent results. EOG's Berenx makes AEX assets look like chicken feed but I guess Tanzania is a big place.

new and aex are long term musts imo.
aen has a cap on what they can sell there oil at and its argentina so iffy just played the find i have meda on it and will leave it alone
been spiked myself and i know it hurts good luck rhu see you around .
if you get a few hour spare have a look at new world oil

and funding sorted for new world .

made a few bob on aen the last few days ...nice seem to be on a bit of a hot streak .. long may it continue

I'd like more but as I started to buy at 54p I do have quite a lot invested here. Not all of us got in at 20p like Paul Curtis did...

Anyway, there are still plenty of other undervalued oily plays depending on one's risk profile..

i have looked around and can find no press anywhere.
a mention from DJP on stockopeia but thats it and that was 1020 this morning . i cant see that creating the intrest that deo had today .
no mention on teh CR thread until this afternoon and even then it wasnt extensive .
so could be a leak of news iminant.
and ftr i wont be topping up and adding when the share price gets higher .
i have bought all im prepaired to buy and that was more of a momentum play than anything else .

I know a bit more about DEO and from my experience, unless there is a leak and news we don't know about, it's more likely to drop back tomorrow. The last rise was on some item in Shares mag: it wasn't a long lasting rise.

Good news on finance for Perth or some news on progress at Spaniards would push it up very fast indeed as this stock is only about 30% in public hands.

I'm a good mate of Mr Dross and will be monitoring this share tomorrow. I'm loaded up with NEW at present. Do you think they'll gap this up very fast tomorrow, or will I have a chance of getting in somewhere sensible before it goes haywire; which I hope it does for you and Mr D?
Know very little about the share, but any ideas or suggestions on what she's likely to do tomorrow 08.00?
