RNS Number:1822X Deep-Sea Leisure PLC 15 January 2001 Deep-Sea Leisure PLC Result of Placing and Open Offer Deep-Sea Leisure PLC ("DSL") today announces the final result of the Placing and Open Offer of up to 12,932,720 New Ordinary shares at 30 pence per share, including the result of the placing by Bell Lawrie White of the New Ordinary Shares not taken up by the Open Offer closing date of 5 January 2001. Of the 12,932,720 New Ordinary Shares the subject of the Placing and Open Offer, 6,665,657 were placed with certain existing Qualifying Shareholders, 3,362,655 were taken up under the Open Offer and the remaining balance of 2,904,408 have been fully subscribed pursuant to the Placing Agreement and the placing by Bell Lawrie White. The Placing and Open Offer has therefore been fully subscribed and a total of 12,932,720 New Ordinary Shares have been allotted pursuant to the Placing and Open Offer. Commenting on the result, Alastair Ritchie, Chairman of DSL, said: "I am delighted that the offer has been subscribed in full representing an uptake of almost #1.5 million more than the minimum required. The uptake represents a vote of confidence in Deep-Sea Leisure from both existing and new shareholders."
