DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Resignations

The Board of Dawson Holdings PLC ("Dawson" or the "Company") today announces that following the successful acquisition of Dawson by Smiths News PLC, Hugh Cawley, Chief Executive, Nigel Freer, Chairman and Non-Executive Director, Brenda Dean, Non-Executive Director and Jim McCarthy, Non-Executive Director, have resigned from the Board of Dawson with immediate effect.

Appointments

The Company announces the appointment of Mark Richard Cashmore, Jonathan Michael Bunting and Nicholas John Gresham as Directors of the Company with immediate effect.

Mark Cashmore (50), currently Group Chief Executive of Smiths News PLC, has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive of the Company and appointed to the Board as an executive director.

Jonathan Bunting (39), currently Chief Commercial Officer of Smiths News PLC, has been appointed to the position of Chief Commercial Officer of the Company and appointed to the Board as an executive director.

Nicholas Gresham (40), currently Chief Financial Officer of Smiths News PLC, has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Company and appointed to the Board as an executive director.

As indicated above, each of Mark, Jonathan and Nicholas are currently also directors of Smiths News PLC.
