Major Contract Win

DATONG PLC (DTE.L), a leading provider of covert intelligence gathering solutions, today announces that, as referred to in the Final Results announcement on 4 December 2012, the Group has been awarded a major UK contract to develop and supply an innovative system.

The contract encompasses the development and manufacture of a range of new products and software followed by an extensive system integration, test and trials phase. DATONG is responsible for the overall system design including the integration of key subsystems from other leading UK suppliers. The solution also includes an enhanced version of a DATONG product which has generated significant UK and export interest since its recent launch.

The contract is worth GBP7.5 million to the Group over the next two years.
