In the last month IGas shares have advanced 53%, while Dart's are up 54% as investors have raced to gain an early stake in what could be a massive shale bounty. The shares are up 5% and 13% respectively today. |

Sorely tempted to add to exposure but just waiting for some sort of trigger such as one of the three market makers moving of the offer at 50p. Although investors might be best served if no bid arises, it would be nice to see one on the table. |

John also says that Dart is looking at a London IPO which will help it cement its position here and gives investors in the UK a further opportunity to take part in the sector. |

Posted at 10/2/2012 09:49 by lucky_punter If the development of coal bed methane specialist Dart Energy (ASX:DTE) is anything like its former parent company, then investors are in for quite a ride.Dart was spun out of Arrow Energy in the summer of 2010 ahead of Arrow's US$4 billion takeover by Shell and PetroChina and it is an object lesson in value creation. |
