Following the acquisition of CTRLF and LCRF by the Secretary of State for 
Transport with effect from 08 June, 2009 and in order to align the financial 
reporting by both companies for the current and future years with the Government 
accounting year end date of 31st March, both CTRLF and LCRF have with effect 
from 27th May 2010 changed their accounting reference date from 31st December to 
31st March each year. The current accounting period of each company has been 
extended from 31st December, 2010 to 31st March, 2011.
