               Cancellation of London Stock Exchange Listing


CSR Limited (CSR) has applied for cancellation of its secondary listing on the
London Stock Exchange (LSE) with the UK Listing Authority.  The cancellation of
this listing has been requested due to low volumes of trading on the LSE.  It is
proposed that the cancellation of the secondary listing will take effect from 30
May 2003.

CSR will continue to maintain its primary listing on the Australian Stock
Exchange (ASX code: CSR)
