03/2/2012 09:37 | Sorry active, been venting my frustration this morning! | ravenna23
03/2/2012 09:21 | Aspers it is only 5000 pounds worth of shares traded this morning, the one thing Ross has done is make it very cheap to buy shares in Cosalt. I do not think Ross wants to risk prison so doubt it is he or his associates dealing at these prices. | ravenna23
03/2/2012 09:14 | There are some chunky sell's going through this morning....who is hoovering these up?? Still reckon Dross is at it and has every man and dog buying for him on the QT. | aspers
03/2/2012 08:50 | Right well instead of whinging about it do something. Below is a template I put together for savecosalt.com. Send a letter to the MD of your nominee broker. Please help you cannot expect others to do everything for you!!!! After you have done this to secure your own vote at the EGM I encourage you to send of an email to your brokers Managing Director to convince them to make their clients aware of the upcoming vote to delist at the EGM as many people will not be aware of it until its too late. I believe Hargreaves Lansdowne already do this, yet it seems iii, Lloyd's, Halifax and no doubt many others have yet to arrive at this mindset. To simplify things I will paste a template below that you can follow if you do not want to use your own words. Subject: EGM regarding delisting of Cosalt Plc Dear As you may be aware the David Ross vehicle Oval Ltd has launched a takeover for Cosalt plc and has secured a 56% holding. However they did not reach the 75% level necessary to delist the company. It appears that they are now to call a general meeting to vote on delisting the company. A large part of their strategy is that many clients that hold Cosalt shares will not be registered to vote at general meetings and therefore may not hear about the vote and be disenfranchised as a result. As Mr Ross himself has stated delisting will adversely affect the marketability of Cosalt shares and therefore it is directly against the interest of your clients with holdings in the company. Hargreaves Lansdowne have a policy of fully informing clients when a delisting is involved so that they will not be unaware of a vote. I encourage you to adopt this action with the same diligence that you have shown in distributing information from Oval Ltd. After all if the shares are not listed you will lose trading commission. I look forward to hearing from you Yours sincerely, | ravenna23
03/2/2012 08:37 | You are totally correct | solarno lopez
03/2/2012 08:24 | ravenna replying to your bsl comment. They will only be contacting the nominee shareholders if you have requested them to re: delisting. Beware all brokers, as this is why Mr Ross is going for a delisting in the fashion he is. Any nominee investor not on bulletin boards, are likely to miss the vote. As the mainstream media are not highlighting the situation whatsoever. Just my honest opinion based on facts. dyor regards active | srpactive
02/2/2012 17:10 | active - 20% of the shareholding should be sufficient to ask ross for representation on the board | the bounty hunter
02/2/2012 17:03 | ravenna23 ok As the bounty hunter states we need the 23%+ upto 44% with legal representation and a independent position on the board. Then we can move the company together in tandem. dyor regards active | srpactive
02/2/2012 16:58 | The key now guys is to unite and seek to appoint an independent director to represent the minorities. | the bounty hunter
02/2/2012 16:52 | Active Delisting would be a disaster for shareholders. Without the protection of regulators the only resort for a PI that feels Ross is treating them unfairly would be very expensive legal action. There would be very little to stop him from massive dilution. Ross cannot be trusted. | ravenna23
01/2/2012 22:22 | Ravenna, I used to leave my shares with stockbrokers (when there were Feranti, LEP, NEXT down to 10p,etc) but when I learned that is better a long term investment, than on a short term with the constant pressure of buying and selling, then I always buying shares with certificate and choose a good time to sell my shares. regards | john168
01/2/2012 14:37 | That maybe the case but since when did Dross ever play by the rules??.....as I have said before one wrong move and the game is up for him! | aspers
01/2/2012 14:25 | I believe no one considered to be acting in concert with him can buy either. | simon corkswill
01/2/2012 12:21 | Aspers, there are widows, families with disabled children and orphans that have investments in this company and are pledging whatever shares they can to SORT. His pals will not want to get involved in a PR disaster, let alone get caught out by the takeover panel. He has to stick to the rules, he knows that his immense wealth gives him an advantage, we just have to be determined. | ravenna23
01/2/2012 12:11 | Rav...no but his pals can!! | aspers
01/2/2012 12:02 | John168, I got fed up of not knowing about votes so transferred half my holdings to certificate form, as an investor and not a trader this does not cause me too much inconvenience and ensures I am informed! | ravenna23
01/2/2012 11:57 | can now buy for 0.44 | mypension |
