The Company was informed on 31 August 1999 that as a result of the Placing and
Offer for Subscription, Dresdner Bank AG and  subsidiary companies are
interested in 8,000,000 Capital shares of 10p each, representing 39.21% of the
issued class of capital.

The present position in respect of the disclosable interests of the
subsidiaries of Dresdner Bank Ag is as follows:-

Kleinwort Benson Securities Limited is interested in 8,000,000 capital shares
of 10p each, representing 39.21% of the issued class of capital. Kleinwort
Benson Securities Limited is a subsidiary of Kleinwort Benson Group plc. The
shares in Kleinwort Benson Group plc are held by Dresdner Investments (UK)
plc, a wholly owned direct subsidiary of Zenon Beteiligungs GmbH which is a
wholly owned direct subsidiary of Dresdner Bank AG.
