28/12/2006 11:07 | $700m is nothing but a pipedream. Anyway, interesting reports of the massive increase in online bookings, so maybe we could see some movement this year as someone takes out CTV if they haven't got too many more skeletons in the cupboard. The losses going forward must be worth something, as must Tzell? | the drewster
23/12/2006 10:24 | Well Done KatyLied How do you find these things? The problem with this company is that the Irish guys screwed up the balance sheet, it will take a while for Tzell to trade away the negative P and L balance. The figures quoted 700 million??? decredit the article and btw where is the RDS? , surely one would be due if a deal of this size was taking place? As usual more doubts and questions butlet,s be positive , there is a glimmer of hope for this stock yet! Stay tuned | robsy2
22/12/2006 14:16 | Wow - don't we just wish!!!!! | the drewster
22/12/2006 13:47 | Haven't looked at this for a while. First thing that pops up... ...The Tzell Travel Group, a $700 million corporate travel agency... ??????????? Yer wot?... | katylied
12/12/2006 16:59 | The accounts for the 6months to 30-06-06 say that the only operating company, Tzell, made a proforma operating profit of $3.5 million. My hope is that now they have stopped p-----g all the profits up against the wall, the company and the share price can now move forward! all the best | robsy2
08/12/2006 13:15 | Robsy - Can I ask where you got the figure of $500,000 from for last month? | tifosigb
05/12/2006 16:26 | So another month goes by and this company makes another $500,000 profit and still the share price doesnt move. Wish I owned it all rather than just a bit of it! | robsy2
21/11/2006 12:26 | It should report a profit this year. I still care but I have them parked up waiting for things to improve. Another short term investment that has gone wrong! The way the chart goes flat reminds me of a hospital moniter of a very sick patient...... | robsy2
21/11/2006 10:28 | Are we still treading water, or have all the "exceptionals" been accounted for and we're in danger of reporting a profit this year? Anyone still watching, listening, or caring? Or are these written off and tucked in everyones bottom draw as they were pretty impossible to sell! | the drewster
07/11/2006 16:26 | Still trading then. Still no news on the freebie (did I say that) handout to former management. Hopefully someone lurking somewhere wanting to take Tzell on board will give us all a palatable exit point. | the drewster
09/10/2006 15:37 | My screen is surely in error - bid price is showing UP 0.5p | the drewster
02/10/2006 13:46 | Down a bit more. Given the lack of meat on the bones of the results, I wonder what nasties have been discovered lurking? | the drewster
28/9/2006 08:33 | This share is a testament to the old adage that any share that has halved in value.. can always halve again. I wonder if the management have now got their sights on 5p/share?... | katylied
27/9/2006 14:50 | I think the only hope is now someone wanting to take out Tzell, which is still rumoured to be worth c.50p/share ... if only the directors could get that value over to the masses and institutions, we may well recover some losses. Not hopeful though, as things just continue to slip slide away | the drewster
22/9/2006 18:33 | I am stuck with it. Yes the B/S is in poor shape , but TZell looks to be plodding along and generates cash. It will take quite a few years to get the Balance sheet in shape again and there is no market in the shares. Some one had to accept 5p on big trade today. No choice but to hold. Not tempted to add any more though. | robsy2
22/9/2006 13:05 | Well I bought a few earlier. EV/EBITDA looks to be about 3 at the current run rate. Too cheap if the business only stands still and serious multibagger possibilities. The balance sheet is very weak though so clearly a good dose of risk. Looks rather clumsy selling today to me rather than anything sinister in the numbers... | britishb
22/9/2006 12:04 | What do you lot think of the results | dally4
01/9/2006 20:31 | The irish connection has brought nothing but problems to the company ie Tzell. I think the Americans are well able to run a well established travel agency with their eyes shut. It just can't be that difficult? I expect the margins are tight etc etc but it seems like the sort of business where you know your profitability at the press of a button. I will be sorely dissapointed if we don't see some serious upside in the news and share price over the next 6 months. Yours with the glass half full R | robsy2
31/8/2006 11:09 | I do not think the market will tolerate further let downs, so if these results are poor and do not show significant signs of a revival, then it will be "close the door behind you" time. At that point, should it come to it, I will be even less happy about spinning off a cash generative asset to "management" without giving us shareholders every last detail of the terms. | the drewster
31/8/2006 11:01 | Agreed. The worry remains however, that these guys have such a poor track record, that their new endeavours may turn out just as poorly conceived. They have alot to prove... | katylied
31/8/2006 10:45 | Logically, the management should have included every bit of bad news and cost possible in the last set as expectation was so low anyway. If they did their job, then moving forward everything should, if the business is actually worth anything at all, be quite pleasant reading. Cashflow will be key I suggest. | the drewster
31/8/2006 10:28 | True, but if this business is ever going to come back from the dead, they will need to switch to 'upbeat mode' at some point. Were the last results the turning point? If so the interims should have a better tone... | katylied
31/8/2006 10:17 | Though it seems our opportunity to find out who benefitted form the "spin off to management" has been lost forever, and certainly is unlikely to appear in the interims as it will be buried in any other "exceptionals". | the drewster
31/8/2006 09:52 | Interims are due by the end of September. I wonder if the muppets will leave it to the absolute last moment, which will be Fri 29th... | katylied
22/8/2006 14:28 | drew - i have taken a few on (have lost in the past here obviously)further to the 'improved finacials' type rns recently. i also noted recently (for what it is worth) some ok sized buys too. it is a pure 100 % punt gamble as i too am badly underwater with other stocks. we i think all know the co. seems an outrage really in terms of its 'communicational skills' but i am hoping that somehow a break to the upside may come one day soon. i read that rns as - we are not bust and tzell has value I believe. | upside potential |
