05/5/2016 16:13 | Pat whats bottom here, I think 18p will be tested!! t traders will be pulling out... | nav1000
05/5/2016 16:10 | but their is no guarantee that forgery case will be concluded by mid july, Quinlivan very careful with his words... | neo26
05/5/2016 15:47 | I think before news ,herd will want to get their timing right for T trades. Others might want to enter before the herd at whatever point. | debbiegee
05/5/2016 15:47 | Have taken a punt here on the news......not that my name is synonymous with success :-) | rutter
05/5/2016 15:45 | Disagree navI always said red herring re paymentThis is good news not badLate payment won't go down well with tribunal and it means that both side are involved and back the tribunal processI think we are favourites to win Tgt 60p | patviera
05/5/2016 15:39 | I think short term sentiment is down, but eventually this will move back up once news comes out. | neo26
05/5/2016 15:38 | I don't think chl has issue raising money, Quinlivan did say that their are many institutions who are happy to invest... | neo26
05/5/2016 15:36 | no ones pump this, what are you on about..... yes short term it will drift news is 6-8 weeks away.. not to worry.... | neo26
05/5/2016 15:35 | Disagree- IMO ROI did this for a reason. What that reason was we can only speculate. My gut feeling was becasue they were trying to force CHL to do something -probably re low settlements or trying to see if CHL had enough money to continue etc....Whatever it was, *It* clearly hasn`t worked. It`s good that ROI are still engaged. | nicebut
05/5/2016 15:31 | LolBack to where it was before allthis excitement and all the daft pumping. This is what happens when you follow the pumpers.Expectations and easy money looking a bit further away now. And further equity will be required for Churchill to see this through. | apfindley
05/5/2016 15:31 | I think it's a positive thing for anyone who has a preference for an early decent settlement. There is no way CHL would entertain talks whilst ROI was in default and playing games. That's not to say there will be further talks but it does remove a barrier. | masarap
05/5/2016 15:19 | nav1000 who the f is patv? ROI won't give a damn about any international pressure. | nick rubens
05/5/2016 15:01 | and forgery case making good progress | debbiegee
05/5/2016 14:56 | Well I think its good news and thanks masarap.....We don`t want ROI ignoring the ICSID or any arbitration decisions. And CHL have their $200k back. | nicebut
05/5/2016 14:53 | Great stuff Masarap,hope ROI thanked CHL for paying up! | p@
05/5/2016 14:50 | Diplomatic pressure / political intervention? Coincidental or not? From my constituency MP : "I've taken it up directly with the Foreign Secretary ... With any luck we will have a substantive response shortly, and I will share it with you proomptly at that stage we can discuss any implications either way." Anyway, it's good news that an $200,000 extra will be in the bank for CHL plus additional costs to be claimed later I assume. Hopefully that will not be used for an LSE fine. If there has been diplomatic pressure, I hope it's to the extent that is has made President Widodo more mindful to settle. | masarap
05/5/2016 14:48 | Agreed, Thailand. They are trying every trick to pressurise CHL but not succeeded so far. Hope the court takes this into account.... | parvez
05/5/2016 14:43 | Or the default was just a tactic to put pressure on CHL's finances, which they now realise hasn't worked. | thailand
05/5/2016 14:30 | Good news IMO. Perhaps someone had aword, the pressure worked?? | nicebut
05/5/2016 14:30 | I wonder what Mr 100k or 105k is thinking now ? | debbiegee
05/5/2016 14:20 | They have to Monday to explain and comment on our rule application. Be interesting to see what is said. If they don't comment I assume we can apply under the rule for measures. | fidra
05/5/2016 14:19 | Surely the lack of explanation and silence doesn't look good for the ROI's law firm either? Its almost like ROI are sulking. Unless they have been pressured by a higher power. | jr_
05/5/2016 14:16 | Very arrogant of them to wire money without an explanation. They have had 2 wks and much more to draft a letter. Blatant disrespect for authority and trading partners AND WE JUST GAVE THEM FREE CREDIT AND LOADS MORE TRADE DEALS ! I suppose their excuse will be we have been too busy travelling the world trying to sucker in some more trade deals and get more treaties signed that we have no intention of abiding by ! | debbiegee |
