Clear Stream Technologies, a medical devices company, is a BUY for Shares. The last fortnight's 15% drop in its share price from mid-March's 57p peak offers an excellent opportunity for investors. Clear Stream 's main engine for growth is the peripheral angioplasty market, which is a relatively new and rapidly growing surgical procedure. It accounted for 72% of all sales in the first half of its financial year. The US market for this kind of product is estimated to be $2.8 billion and is forecast to double by 2016. The £22.1m cap of Clear Stream has already partnered with two major US distributors, Cordis and C.R.Bard.

So massive growth on the agenda, with capacity to meet demands in place.
Best observation is that the mkt cap remains tiny compared to peers.
If all continues to plan then a valuation of nearer £40M would look closer to the mark.

Interesting to see how Institutions have increased their holdings since listed on the header

Much as i expected although profit in this first half a little less than i had aniticipated. A lot of short term investors probably caught out and deciding to move off. Medium and long term potential looks sound, although as Stegrego points out, probably fair enough price for now.

Good interims with a significant turnaround from last year's figures. The interim EPS has been significantly held back by, presumably, the ongoing investment in the new facility and expansion of production.

Outlook sounds very positive and would require a significant downturn in Q4 to spoil the FY expectations.

I suspect that the dip in share price is a reflection of some investors expectations on the EPS, although as has been said before it was very difficult to predict the H1/H2 split.

The nice, steady trickle of buys continues and we're looking to have broken out - can't be long before we break 50p. I suspect it's the combination of good newsflow and ultralow PEG that's turning investors heads - it'll be very interesting to see the FY13 forecast.

HB from 10/2

Clearstream (CTN, 39.25p, £18.09m) Trading update from the medical devices specialist for the six months ending January 2011 confirms continued healthy trading. The group believes the first half results are comfortably in-line with market expectations for the year to August (£1.1m PBT with 3.8p EPS). Not only have capacity increases been achieved but he group also expects to add another product line in the next quarter to the 9 already in-place. With traditionally stronger H2 trading expected and increased capacity we are happy to reconfirm our BUY stance with a 48p fair value which we expect to increase dramatically as investors focus on next year. Yes only a matter of time before we moved again. Interesting to note the shareholder list which is jam packed full of strong Institutions, they have certainly held faith here.

What a decent little number CTN looks to be, yet not much interest out there.
Some impressive growth, with sales rising from around£2M to £12M from 2005 to last year and profitable too.
Focused on the health market producing catheters and stents it already has alliances with some big names like Johnson & Johnson. House Broker has £4.7M Pre-Tax in for next year giving a Fwd PER of 6 !
Jam packed with Institutions,too
