("ClearDebt" or "the Company")
Result of General Meeting
ClearDebt, the AIM quoted integrated consumer debt advisory, IVA and debt management group, announces that the special resolution proposed at the General Meeting ("GM") of the Company held today, 25 March 2013, was duly passed.
Total Votes cast: 217,073,103. Voting in Favour: 215,814,340. Voting Against: 1,258,763
The Special Resolution was passed with a 99.42% majority vote in favour.
Cancellation of the Company's AIM listing
It is expected that the last day of dealings in the Ordinary Shares on AIM will be close of business on 9 April 2013 and the effective date of the Cancellation is expected to be 7.00am on 10 April 2013. If Shareholders wish to buy or sell Ordinary Shares on AIM they must do so prior to the Cancellation becoming effective.
The Company also announces today that arrangements are in hand to appoint a share dealing service to facilitate the matching of purchasers and sellers in the Ordinary Shares following the Cancellation. Further details of which will be circulated to shareholders once such arrangements have been finalised, which it is expected will be before 10 April 2013.
