Keep looking at the transfer gossip but everything I see concerning Chelsea regarding certain players is that a handful of other clubs are also interested. Seems that we no longer have the pulling power of a few years ago.

I think Conte is going to be a strong personality and will do a very good job. But he's going to be severely hampered if he's expected to use much the same squad as last season. I'm hoping against hope that he will finally be the manager to see through Mikel's uselessness. He might have to fight Abramovich and Emanalo to get rid of him but it's something he must do. And try to persuade Abramovich to get rid of the useless Emanalo at the same time. Conte has to be his own man and Chelsea must only bring players in that he wants. Stop buying Emanalo-inspired dross and then loan them out for eternity.

It's going to be a struggle just to get a top four place next season. Good luck to Conte. I wish Terry would have gone because him chuntering away in the background will make Conte's job that more difficult.

Lot of comment about John Terry's future today. I know I'm not going to be very popular with the majority but I think that he has to be let go at the end of the season.

After all the "player power" shenanigans of this season and the mess the club has degenerated into as a result of them, it is really imperative that the new manager comes in and is able to take full and firm control of the dressing room from the outset. Terry's absence will make his job easier, in my opinion.

He's been a great servant of the club and he deserves a last big pay day in China if he fancies going there. Conte will need to work on our defence before the start of next season and I'm sure he's already earmarked acquisitions in that area. Anyone that isn't fully committed to the club should be sold. If that means losing Costa, Hazard, Matic and Courtois, then sobeit. And, of course, mediocre dross like Mikel and Oscar have to be shown the door.

A complete clear out with a fresh broom is what's needed. From what I've read and heard, Conte appears to be the man to mould a new, successful Chelsea in his own image. Looking forward to him taking over after the Euros.

Hate the man if you are so infantile but at least recognize loyalty and his commitment.
Bit of backbone in your squad would not go amiss.
Better still just grow up....
