I haven't read any of the papers, but Alan Brazil on talksport reported that they were hinting they Jose had lost the plot/marbles etc.

I was wondering this myself.

There is a thin line between hardline management and losing it!

Moaninho got himeslf the sack. Arrogant fool started to believe his own hype. Hopefully this will teach him to have a bit of humility in future. "Specialist in failure" comments, treatment of the club doctor - he lost the plot. In truth I think he may even have engineered his way out of this. He did not want the job this time around. Calling himself the happy one to hide the fact that he was really sad to go back to the bridge. He spends too little time at each club which is why he had to come back to chelski so soon. He wanted the man u job but fergie blanked him and he's been far from the happy one ever since. Germany, France or a spell in international mgt next imo.The problem he has is that the traditionall big clubs with history and a bit of pride may not want him. Would bayern want him to tarnish their image? man u already showed that they didn't fancy him. He's damaged goods. No one wants the baggage that goes with the moaninho circus. His rude arrogant ways are so tiresome. It shows what gutter press we have when they say they still love him. Whether he engineered this or not he got what he deserved.

Not 100% sure of that Monty - but I do expect friction in the stands as there seems to be a majority (pro Jose) camp but equally a sizeable minority who thinks this is the right thing to do

Reading some of their posts makes me question the value of loyalty - a quality lacking in oh so many
