Apologies for the typos, bixy - but always have another look a few mins after i initially post as I usually proof read after it's posted. I can type quick, but obviously not very accurately. ;-)

I'm off out straight from the office now - the launch of Ghost Vodka at the Buddha Bar in Knightsbridge. One of my mates is one of the guys behind it. I'm taking 3 of the guys here with me. I'll slope off early as I'm not a party animal anymore. Unless it's Chelsea away in Europe. :-)

The Union flag one is the most popular in Fortnums & Masons. The bottles are very collectable, he says. A good gimmick. But the vodka is all English - everything. And it scored 97/100. Grey Goose got 83/100. It's taking off. I wish him the best.

I'll try a couple of slurps. Then I'll go home and relax.

I was in the East Stand which I can remember being built. It was a marvel in its day although it bankrupted the Mears Family I seem to recall. It is actually totally unfit for purpose although the views of the game are excellent. (Spurs ground still has pillars supporting the roof FFS). But the East Stand does not comply with modern legal requirements on evacuation. Everyone out on Fulham Road in 6 minutes. Small narrow corridors and stairs, and only a few lifts.

I am surprised you are nostalgic about the current ground. The new stadium will be a challenge and they need to avoid the situation where it becomes a three tier cake interrupted by executive boxes where those at the top tier are divorced from the atmosphere below..Nou Camp, new Wembley, River Plate stadium etc.

Point taken re season ticket holders.
