25/8/2010 07:18 | Fantastic Indeed! Am I seeing one enormous cup and handle chart there? About time CHW put in a serious move. | bigbigdave
25/8/2010 07:17 | "We will continue to control costs, focus on cash management and concentrate on growing our portfolio of clients across all disciplines and all the markets, both in the UK and internationally. In the first two months of the second half year we are ahead of budget. We are confident of the full year and beyond. " without a detailed analysis of the interims, the above is my immediate snippit | yoyoy
25/8/2010 07:17 | ....now those numbers are even better than I could even imagine. that 220p will be taken out easily, now that the macro background is as solid as that. Another little stunner CR :) | santangello
25/8/2010 07:12 | Fantastic results | tom111
24/8/2010 17:16 | Broke the downtrend resistance and the July high today - very positive and yes, would have been way higher had the bulls shown their horns - weak market held it back. Tomorrows results should be interesting. CR | cockneyrebel
24/8/2010 16:37 | Yup- Could have reached the 190p if it wasn't for Wall Street but not to matter because the results should be the big driver of share price | simon42
24/8/2010 16:31 | Shame about Wall St otherwise it would be higher.HNT looks perky too | tom111
24/8/2010 15:37 | Breaking out well now - that 65K trade looks like the end of an overhang imo CR | cockneyrebel
24/8/2010 07:46 | Good results from WPP and a 15% hike to the divi. CHW should be rather excellent on that basis as they have been outperforming WPP by a mile recently. CR | cockneyrebel
23/8/2010 19:17 | Looks like we finished at 180p for the day according to the chart | tom111
23/8/2010 16:30 | 190p before results?..... hope so. | simon42
22/8/2010 20:18 | Well for me it's a no brainer.... "The Group overall in the first four months of 2010 has continued the progress made in 2009 with good growth. We expect to outperform the 2009 first half year operating income and operating profit and to be ahead of both budget and market expectations. Our new business pipeline is full with the value of new business wins in the first quarter of 2010 over 30% higher than the same period in 2009, which was a record performance for the company. 77% of forecast operating income for 2010 is now committed, compared to 75% at this time last year. We acted for Qatar Holdings in their recent acquisition of Harrods and Qatari Diar on the redevelopment of UK property interests; and new business wins included: Airbus, Barclays, Johnson Matthey, Kuwait Energy, Gatwick Express, O2 Slovakia, the Moroccan National Tourist Office and The Clydesdale Bank 40 (cricket). We have continued to control our fixed costs. Salary increases have only been given for promotions or increased responsibility and we have continued to increase the proportion of our expenditure that is variable and dependent on performance. Headcount, other than through acquisition, has not increased and the restructuring of the Research Division is resulting in substantial cost savings. We have continued to manage our cash flow very carefully. In line with our forecast, we expect to have a small amount of debt at 30th June 2010 (caused by the payment of the first tranche of the Fast Track earnout). We expect to be cash positive by 31st December 2010. Our overall strategy is to manage our business on a cautious basis with careful cost control, and we are very pleased with our performance so far in 2010. The Public Relations Division (Bell Pottinger Group) has shown good growth in operating income and operating profit with strong performances from Public Affairs, Financial Public Relations, Corporate and Social Responsibility and Sans Frontires, our geopolitical public advocacy consultancy. We have opened an office in Singapore and already won Temasek and Golden Agri, two of the largest clients in South East Asia. The Sports Marketing Division has shown organic growth in operating revenue and operating profit and the integration of recent acquisition Essentially has been successfully completed. The Advertising Marketing Services Divisionhas had several good new business wins which will have biggest effect in the second half. The Research Division has been restructured under new management and it has returned to profit in the first half of 2010. We are confident that this Division will return organic growth in the second half of 2010. The acquisition of Tree, completed in March 2010, will further improve the performance of this Division." but DYOR etc.... | chadders
20/8/2010 15:38 | Yup, this is looking very horny and I feel a nice rally coming on! | simon42
20/8/2010 15:30 | through 178p and that's an even hornier breakputy through the recent highs. CR | cockneyrebel
20/8/2010 11:35 | Must agree their results are out 2 days after chw | tom111
20/8/2010 10:36 | Chart looking rather good here - through the recent run of little highs and broken through the down trend resistance. HNT always a disappointment imo tom11 - Lord Chadlington seems to blow hot but doesn't seem to deliver imo. CR | cockneyrebel
20/8/2010 10:25 | HNT havnt been too clever o | tom111
20/8/2010 09:39 | Lets hope there is upside from here. I was going to buy more but the likes of CRE and FOUR have not really responded that well despite strong earnings growth. | gswredland
19/8/2010 20:30 | yep, few have noticed this starting to cut up through the downtrend resistace too. CR | cockneyrebel
19/8/2010 20:05 | Nice 9.33am trade (a buy not a sell...look at the stats)being revealed after the bell. I agree CR, so much upside from here. | santangello
19/8/2010 14:54 | Results Weds - I remember last time this was ignored like this 18 months ago - results came out and it put on 200% in no time. Won't do 200% like that again but definitely ignored here. CR | cockneyrebel
13/8/2010 20:02 | HNT and CHW have results due about the same time and both shares are slipping in tandam. After the results both shares should bounce | tom111
10/8/2010 17:42 | Some very strange trading today. With a bid price of 172 pence available somebody then puts in an ask price of 165 pence. That's knocked a couple of pence off the share price. | jimbowler
09/8/2010 15:11 | I'm long from Froday and today - chart breaking the downtrend resistance here imo. CR | cockneyrebel
28/7/2010 08:49 | Hi Jim Thanks for info-am a long term holder in at 158 so also crossing fingers. Regards | captainiceman |
