18/7/2001 10:18 | Charteris - IT management consultancy - came to market last year 8x revenue (forget the profirt multiple) Must be feeling slowdown Raised £3m in placing at 90p for acqusitions Spent £2m on a freehold property - so they think this is a core business? Spent £0.2m cash plus oodles of shares on buying an internet company - paid 18x post tax profits This leaves it with £800,000 and some expensive management consulting mouths (£100k each?) to feed. Some slowdown as we have now in markets and whoosh it goes pear shaped. Current price now 90p but starting to slide My belief is that the correct valuation is sub 30p. | westex

12/7/2001 23:14 | This is clearly the most unattractive shares in the internet sector, still trading on a mammoth PER and PSR. Management overegged themselves and will now get their just deserts with an overpaid workforce and declining sales. | westex
26/6/2001 15:08 | Any idea why this nice sensible commercial company is ding so badly? And yes I know it is an IT company. Why has it dropped 14p to-day for no reason, or is there a reason. | john8438
29/3/2001 15:26 | A lot of overpaid horses and no carts to pull A pe of 100 to boot Times must be getting bad for them | bidlick |
