Board Appointment

Charterhouse Communications plc ("Charterhouse" or the "Company") wishes to
announce that it is to appoint Andy Beevers as its new Managing Director to
replace Geoff Gamble who will leave the Company in December 2007. It is
anticipated that Andy Beevers will join the Company in January 2008.

Andy Beevers has more than 23 years experience in B2B publishing, starting his
career as a journalist with Morgan Grampian (now CMP) and Reed Business
Publishing.

For the past 15 years he has been with Emap Communications where he became
publishing and events director for the company's plastics industry magazines,
websites, conferences and exhibitions. He took up this position five years ago
and has consistently grown the turnover and profits for the business under
difficult market conditions.

The 44-year-old Birmingham University graduate brings extensive experience of
managing and launching profitable events, including exhibitions, conferences and
awards nights.

"Charterhouse Communications has strong teams, products and brands with a great
deal of potential for expansion into new areas," said Beevers, adding: "This is
an exciting time to be joining the company and I am looking forward to working
with the staff and the board to develop and grow the business."
