                              Issue of new shares 
 
The Board of Charles Street Capital plc, the AIM listed natural resources 
investment company, announces that, in accordance with the terms of their 
resignations, it has issued an aggregate of 21,000,000 new ordinary shares of 
0.1p (the "Shares") (credited as fully paid) to certain ex-directors of the 
Company. 
 
The Shares will represent approximately 2 per cent. of the Company's enlarged 
issued share capital. Application will be made for the admission of the Shares 
to trading on AIM and it is expected that dealings in the new shares will 
commence at 8.00 a.m. on 6 September 2010.  The Shares will, when issued, rank 
pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary Shares, including the 
right to receive dividends and other distributions declared following Admission. 
 
Following completion of the allotment of the Shares there will be 1,049,170,652 
ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in issue.
