Result of AGM and Trading Update 
 
 
The Board of CBG Group plc announces that at the Company's Annual 
General Meeting held earlier today, all resolutions were duly passed. 
 
Laurie Turnbull, the Chairman of CBG, made the following comments about current 
trading: 
 
"At the time of announcement of our preliminary results in March, I reflected on 
how the way 2008 ended and how we would respond to changes as situations 
evolved. Trading conditions have remained challenging since then and as we 
approach the lead in to the end of the first half, it is clear that our 
financial performance is under pressure. Given the uncertain nature of the 
economic situation we still remain focused on ensuring our cost base is 
efficient and a number of actions including cost reduction and income management 
have had a beneficial effect on the first half but the full effect will only be 
seen in the second half. We believe the Group remains robust and well placed to 
meet forthcoming challenges and capitalise on the economic upturn when it comes
