16/3/2017 18:48 | Oh VERY dear..... "Don't treat it as "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" because it is broken regardless of having paying customers, your management team treat your staff awfully and don't value anybody but themselves." Says it all really. I expect this will crash and burn................ | chimers
16/3/2017 18:46 | Oh dear............. "I can not think of a single positive thing to say about the company. The wider group is alright and Ian Smith is a nice guy, Cons The Documotive arm is awful. They treat the staff as commodities and make sure they know it. They say they want a dev process and don't stick to it. They don't understand software development and they don't strive to improve anything. You're lucky to get a spec. You're lucky to get a straight answer." | chimers
16/3/2017 18:43 | There's no story there, or if there is its of why you're bothering as a disinterested observer to search the net again for something to say, and that's what you found. The story will be in the figures, whatever they are. CEO/MXCP know them. There's a few disgruntled ex employees on that Glassdoor sure enough. Anybody who ever worked for a living seen them. And a few who been hard done by. I agree that current one seems a bit of a whinger, wants free drinks etc. but still there. Won't last long. And only 50% rate the ex CEO. But pleased to see they're running a tight ship expenditure wise. A bit like Amazon, and they done alright! They don't seem to have that many vacancies for a 180 or so employee company - only one currently advertised, one week old, and that may be a new job. Always room for improvement, and with a new CEO, and COO Sanghera from Documotive ( though I liked her ) and Bell gone, maybe perhaps lead to a happier, and even more productive environment than recent contracts indicate. C'est la vie! Vous attraper plus tard! | suneday
16/3/2017 16:10 | Kinda tells a story though eh!! AVOID!! | chimers
16/3/2017 16:09 | I always say a happy workplace is a .................wel Innit ? | chimers
16/3/2017 16:02 | Oh.................. Hey ......I hear they have nice water coolers so.............not all bad eh!! | chimers
16/3/2017 16:00 | Hey I know , lets see what some staff past n present at CTP have to say about working there. I bet they love it.................. 13 Sep 2016 "Like working to tight deadlines with no leadership !!" Former Employee - Anonymous Employee Doesn't Recommend Negative Outlook Disapproves of CEO Pros I suppose Sutton Coldfield is a nice place to work, and compared to this company its about the only benefit i can think of, Unless you like working in the dark, with no leadership and no actual planning of work Cons No one is in charge People who think they are in charge dont know what they are doing, Product Managers constantly under planning work. Only way to get promoted is to get drunk with the boss Advice to Management Please value your employees, Developers are not some minimum wage job, this is our career and livelihood. By ignoring are opinions on everything from office layout to how we want to work, we have more collective experience than you do, we know what we are doing and we know what works. | chimers
14/3/2017 14:43 | Checking in every 2 mins is not exactly 'catching us later' wodja fink? ;@) | leedsu36
13/3/2017 21:11 | 1hopefultrader13 Mar '17 - 13:13 - 4333 of 4336 'Bid ticking up again.. makes you wonder who is buying in the background. We understand the reasoning behind the buying but it would be nice to have clarification as to who is acquiring them. Some one is going to make a lot of money over the remainder of this year in my view.' There should be a holdings RNS cooking up. Can't be a 'mug punter' snaffling everything up - and they don't need to be paying this price. | suneday |
