22/4/2012 19:32 | Good find prof.Lets hope it generates a meaningful return for Camco. | edale
19/4/2012 10:32 | Well people (not me) taking profit at 5.75p resistance. Lets see where we end the day | howdlep
19/4/2012 09:09 | Full 6p being paid. This is going higher. A break above 5.75p should add to the momentum | howdlep
19/4/2012 08:14 | A nice 100k buy to start with. Anyone seen any morning press coverage? | howdlep
18/4/2012 18:44 | Tonight's UK-Analyst Stockmarket Report:- News of a significantly improved cash balance at Camco International (CAO) saw shares in the clean energy products manufacturer surge by 1.375p to 5.625p. The firm said that it held funds of 17 million euros on 13th April, up from 11.3 million euros at the end of the 2011 calendar year thanks to the on-going performance of the group and the completion of a number of carbon transactions. Investors will be pleased to see such a positive start to 2012, although focus in the coming weeks we will applied towards the group's final results for the year to December 2011, which will be released on 22nd May. | howdlep
18/4/2012 11:18 | I tried that trick moosh2 and average out at 8.25. Fortunately in my first dabble with CAO picked up a 40% return, but cannot see that being replicated anytime soon this time around! Agree, dont see 4p again given that we actually have some news at last! Nice to see a couple of 250k buys go thro. | rat attack
18/4/2012 10:28 | well i only buy on a falling share price and lowest buy for me was 4.15p so 10%+ less that would mean sub 4p to buy and unless CAO are going to surprise us with something dastardly then i doubt MMs are going to go that low. so everyone else can go buy some, or not. but that's my stance! | moosh2
18/4/2012 09:18 | howdlep - "the more you post rubbish" - you must be getting flustered! Oh well, at least I passed my accounting exams! Also, I really cannot understand why I as a shareholder would wish to "deramp" particularly when I am sitting on a loss - cant get everything right of course! That apart, definite case of a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, or pure arrogance?! Onwards to the results... | rat attack
18/4/2012 08:58 | rat attack, You missed out a few criticial words, namely "as a general rule". Your deramping is obvious and for all to see. But the more you post rubbish, the more people will read the thread, so keep it up. howdlep - 12 Apr'12 - 13:30 - 1205 of 1219 edit rat attack, The precedent means nothing. As a general rule, companies could be negotiating funding, selling or buying an asset, reorganising the business, or simply in the process of having the results verified by their accountant and NOMAD. The AIM market is weak across the board, so opportunities are presenting themselves as being cheaper on a weekly basis. rat attack - 18 Apr'12 - 08:39 - 1217 of 1220 howdlep - sorry, but for someone who quoted the following reasons for delayed results "...could be negotiating funding, selling or buying an asset, reorganising the business, or simply in the process of having the results verified by their accountant and NOMAD." maybe you ought to do your accounting exams or actually work in the City! You might just learn a thing, or two! | howdlep
18/4/2012 08:43 | Can buy under the midprice again (as youve been able to for last few months) Still think there is a large seller here. Wouldnt surprise me at all to see this go sub 5p again regardless of the cash position. Still have a small position but not adding to it - yet. | phowdo
18/4/2012 08:41 | yes it most certainly was cheap before today, but in reality the mm's will in the main, but not always, adjust prices to balance their books. However, as cash balances were never a problem, the mm's simply walked the share price down and in the absence of buyers the drop was overdone. Now with the uncertainty out of the way, pi's can see a clearer vision of the future. Let the re rating continue | howdlep

18/4/2012 08:31 | MMs drifted the share price to well below dec 2011 cash balance so it was cheap before today?! | moosh2
18/4/2012 08:23 | Yes, they're not big on news flow.......unfortuna | gerryjames
18/4/2012 08:19 | They were late enough, they have watched the price drift from 9p to 4p before issuing the news people wanted to see, far too long. | 27howard
18/4/2012 08:16 | rat attack, The results were never late as you well know. It is carbon model development and more importantly the excellent cash balances that are responsible for the re rating, that is just underway. Again you realise that, if you understand how the City works!! | howdlep
18/4/2012 08:12 | howdlep - just to prove you were completely wrong! As soon as the results date is announced the share price is up 20%+ with the uncertainty removed/reduced!! Thats the way the city works!! | rat attack
18/4/2012 08:12 | Sellers already, guess people who paid 4.1p last week are taking a profit. Looks cheap to me but that means nothing, I wont be buying back in. | 27howard

18/4/2012 07:11 | who else makes cash at 7.4p per share? | moosh2
12/4/2012 13:30 | rat attack, The precedent means nothing. As a general rule, companies could be negotiating funding, selling or buying an asset, reorganising the business, or simply in the process of having the results verified by their accountant and NOMAD. The AIM market is weak across the board, so opportunities are presenting themselves as being cheaper on a weekly basis. If no news means a more riskier investment for you or anyone else, then they should sell up and either buy another share, or asset class, or realise a negative return in the bank, once inflation is takn into account. But as the share price drops lower, be in doubt that in the absence of news to the contrary, the risk/reward is improving. Why buy shares at 7p+ if you can buy them at 4p? The question is whether they will hit 3p at any point, before quickly recovering to 7p and beyond? I will be watching the daily volume in the lead up to those results. | howdlep |
