                        Cambridge Mineral Resources Plc ('CMR' or 'the Company')
                                          Temporary Suspension

Cambridge  Mineral  Resources  Plc, the AIM listed mining exploration and  production  company  primarily
targeting precious metals in South America, has today requested a temporary suspension of trading pending
the completion of its annual report and accounts for the year to 31 December 2007.

The  delay  in  the  publication of the 2007 report and accounts has arisen from the  transition  of  the
Company's group accounts to International Financial Reporting Standards.
The Directors anticipate that the audited report and accounts will be published shortly at which point
the Company's shares will resume trading on AIM.
