Interesting last paragraph: '"Any other stakeholders who have any better idea or can offer a better solution are by all means welcome to propose and play a role," Mr. Tan said. "Likewise, any party is welcome to send its bid if it wishes to acquire any or both of the assets."' | cl2201

12/11/2012 11:32 | Liam1om - You could well be right, but on the other hand, it depends how sweaty the Bakries' palms get whilst this investigation is underway. Spreadbet magazine is convinced they might just bid for the remaining 53% of the company (that they don't own) in a straight offer. As for the 90 day period, this is not the stated time for the investigation as far as how long it will take Bumi Plc to conduct it (it could take 30 days, for example). It refers to the maximum time period allowed, the order for which was handed down by the court. | cl2201
12/11/2012 11:09 | Not sure you are going to see a rise whilst the investigation is ongoing. They now have 90 days, so I'm not sure we will see any further updates until then. | liam1om
12/11/2012 04:44 | Come on BUMI I would like too see a nice rise this week many thanks in advance ! Naughty . | naughtynicky72
09/11/2012 15:17 | Update today on Spreadbet magazine. UPDATE - 9 NOV 2012 - Todays announcement of continuing fractious relations between PT Bumi (the Indonesian main co) and Bumi Plc leads me to believe ever more that the only way for the Bakries to cleanly break and shed Natty is to offer cash to the remaining shareholders. Nat doesn't hold sufficient to block it and so this is my expectation of the next move on the chess board that is currently Bumi. | ashthorpedo
09/11/2012 13:53 | high-Thnx. Summary on Bumi- | p@ |
