15/2/2005 20:41 | even better is that they have not waited, this time, they have actually let there investors know something is about to happen one way or the other, | macca28
15/2/2005 20:18 | Good news. Been in this for 18 months waiting for this deal. Got in a bit early as it happens, but could be interesting now. | topvest
15/2/2005 20:01 | Thanks Macca. But then there was another company in Oct 04 that they were reported to be discussing a deal with as well. So that is at least 3 companies that a deal has fallen through with. It is to be hoped this time BOTH sides are serious about a deal. It seems that BLO learned a lot from the unsuccessful early 04 negotiations, and so set about the changed corporate structure. But still a deal eluded them in late 04, so they have even more experience to realise what is necessary and what is possible ........... and what not to do! | stevea171
15/2/2005 19:45 | here we go 20th april 04 Malcolm Burne, who has taken over as chairman, told Mineweb the changes were necessary if Bullion was to move on. The company in recent months had worked on two separate deals that came close to completion, "but the baggage was too heavy. A reverse takeover needed a cleaner structure." He added: "We are putting into place the right corporate structure and profile that can give the market confidence that Bullion can do a serious quality deal." Burne said that both the companies Bullion had talked to without success had subsequently listed on AIM. | macca28
15/2/2005 19:39 | bullion did not disclose the names, but i will try to find the report for you | macca28
15/2/2005 18:20 | macca. What are the names of the 2 companies they were in talks with previously and both now have their own AIM listing? The document that the AIM Notice refers to could be the takeover offer document to BLO and their notification and recommendation to shareholders: 'temporarily suspended from 15/02/2005 1:20pm pending publication of a document.' I would hope this suspension is for no more than a week or two at most, given how far progressed they seem to be and the almost complete lack of progress in the last year apart from accounting issues and board changes, etc. | stevea171
15/2/2005 17:40 | IMVHO can only be good for us. | linslader
15/2/2005 17:25 | They will issue equity to acquire the new company and given that its a reverse takeover must mean that they will more the 50% of the enlarged company. | greenspamster
15/2/2005 17:13 | well this is the market report at close, Bullion Resources jumped 1.75p to 6.25p, at which point it was suspended as the group revealed it may become the target of a reverse takeover. | macca28
15/2/2005 16:22 | so if the deal goes through, does that mean bullion will own the other company, and (if the other company are in the stock market),how do they sort out the shares, | macca28
15/2/2005 15:41 | Aim would have made them suspend the share. Hopefully as being in talks for so long and the fact share actually began to move that the deal is a done deal. Just depends how good the project/company that is being reversed in. If a good oil exploration play (look at COP or MDL) then we could be in for a nice rollercoaster share price ride. | greenspamster
15/2/2005 14:24 | like glow................ | mohamed99
