                   BULGARIAN PROPERTY DEVELOPMENTS PLC ("BPD")

Change in Accounting Reference Date

BPD announces that it has changed its accounting reference date from 30 June to
31 December. This change is to align the parent company's accounting reference
date with the statutory accounting reference date for its Bulgarian
subsidiaries.

As a result BPD will be producing Audited Financial Statements for the six
months period ended on 31 December 2007, which are expected to be published in
May 2008. An Interim Statement will be produced in respect of the six months
ended 30 June 2008.
