Brockhampton Holdings plc ("Brockhampton" or the "Company")


Result of Extraordinary General Meeting


The Company announces that, at the Extraordinary General Meeting requisitioned
by two shareholders held today, the resolution calling upon the Directors of
Brockhampton to formulate proposals for the enfranchisement of the non-voting
A Ordinary shares was rejected by a majority of Ordinary shareholders in value
and number.

In response to a question put to the meeting concerning the recent press
speculation regarding a merger of Brockhampton with other water supply
companies, it was stated that Brockhampton is not involved in any discussions
which might lead to such a merger, nor has any such approach to the Company
been made. Following the clarification of this matter, the Board intends to
maintain its normal policy of not commenting on such speculation or rumours.

Commenting on the outcome of the meeting, Nick Roadnight, Managing Director of
Brockhampton said "Brockhampton shareholders have recognised the work which
has already been undertaken by the Board on the question of enfranchisement
for the non-voting A Ordinary shares. The Board of Brockhampton will continue
to encourage a dialogue with all classes of shareholders on issues of
substance, at the same time as building on the Company's successful
performance."
