Points to note - August 1997

Single-reactor statutory outages: Torness outage completed on schedule at the
beginning of the month; Hinkley Point B outage throughout August; Hunterston B
outage commenced at the beginning of August - both on schedule.

Single-reactor refuelling outages completed at Hartlepool, and commenced at
Heysham 1.

On-load refuelling completed on one reactor at Heysham 2.

Two-week  single-reactor  outage at Hinkley Point B  for  pipework  and  valve
repairs, completed 13 August.
